I can NOT believe that we fly out tomorrow morning. My nerves are running sort-of high.....but it would probably help everyone if everything was actually IN my backpack vs. on my bedroom floor!
Our travel plans changed a bit today- as we were invited to a wedding in Chennai India on Thursday. We were supposed to start our trip in Delhi and instead we book a flight from Delhi to Chennai when we land....and we will attend a wedding on Thursday and Friday of next week! The wedding is of one of the guys that I met while working on an outsourcing project while at DCT. He was hoping to have his arranged marriage final this year--and it looks like he was connected with his wife a month ago....so, they are getting married.
We are both excited about having our first few days in India be spent attending a wedding! Very lucky!!
i love it! i think it's so typical that you are showing up in another country only to attend an arranged marriage. you have got to write a book about all of this stuff, seriously! have a great time and can't wait to hear more after this wedding.
